How to Calculate the Matrix from Date of Birth
A practical step-by-step guide on how to calculate your Destiny Matrix based on your date of birth.
How to calculate the Destiny Matrix from your birth date?
Calculating the Destiny Matrix is simpler than you think. You only need your birth date and to know one rule: all numbers are reduced to the range of 1–22.
Reduction Rule
In the Destiny Matrix, we work with numbers from 1 to 22, which correspond to the 22 Major Arcana. If the sum exceeds 22, subtract 22. For example:
- 25 → 25 - 22 = 3 (The Empress)
- 38 → 38 - 22 = 16 (The Tower)
- 44 → 44 - 22 = 22 (The Fool)
Step by Step: Calculating the Basic Points
1. Day Point (A)
Take the day of your birth. If it is > 22, subtract 22.
Example: born on the 28th → 28 - 22 = 6 (The Lovers)
2. Month Point (B)
Take the month number (1–12). All fit within the range of 1–22, so you don’t need to reduce.
Example: July = 7 (The Chariot)
3. Year Point (C)
Add the digits of the year and reduce.
Example: 1990 → 1+9+9+0 = 19 → 19 (The Sun)
4. Personal Goal Point
Add A + B + C and reduce to the range of 1–22.
Example: 6 + 7 + 19 = 32 → 32 - 22 = 10 (Wheel of Fortune)
5. Destiny Point
Add the digits of the personal goal point:
Example: 10 → 1+0 = 1 (The Magician)
Geometry of the Matrix
The calculated points are placed in a characteristic geometric pattern — a square inscribed within a square, with diagonal axes. Each point has its position and specific meaning:
- Corners of the outer square — main energies of personality
- Corners of the inner square — deeper spiritual layers
- Central point — synthesis, essence of personality
- Horizontal and vertical axes — zones of body, soul, and spirit
